Turkey Cheddar Spinach Dip

Ingredients

1 lb | 450 g Granny's ground
2 tbsp | 30 ml olive oil
1/3 cup | 85 ml shallots, finely chopped
2 tbsp | 30 ml garlic, finely chopped
2 cups | 500 ml fresh packed baby spinach, finely chopped
½ cup | 65 ml 35% cream
½ tsp | 2.5 ml sea salt
¼ tsp | 1.25 ml freshly ground black pepper
½ tsp | 2.5 ml mustard powder
1 ½ cups | 375 ml aged white cheddar, shredded
¼ cup | 65 ml 14% sour cream

Directions

Sauté turkey, shallots and garlic in olive oil until over medium-high heat until lightly browned.
Add spinach and cream. Stir and continue cooking until spinach is cooked and cream is simmering.
Remove from heat and add cheese, and seasoning. Continue to stir until cheese is melted. Stir in sour cream.
Sprinkle with paprika and serve warm with slices of crusty baguette or crackers.
