Yummy Turkey Chili for 12!

Ingredients

2 lbs | 900 g Granny's ground turkey
1 lb | 450 g Italian sausage
2 strips bacon, finely chopped
3 (540 ml 16 oz) cans red kidney beans
2 (796 ml | 27 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 (150 ml 5 oz) can tomato paste
1 cup | 250 ml onion, chopped
1/2 cup | 125 ml celery, chopped
1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
1 red pepper, seeded and chopped
4 beef bouillon
1/2 cup | 125 ml beer
1/4 cup | 65 ml chili powder
1 tbsp | 15 ml Worchestershire sauce
1 tbsp | 15 ml garlic, minced
1 tbsp | 15 ml oregano
2 tsp | 10 ml ground cumin
2 tsp | 10 ml hot sauce (e.g. Tabasco)
1 tsp | 5 ml dried basil
1 tsp | 5 ml salt
tsp | 5 ml black pepper
tsp | 5 ml cayenne pepper
tsp | 5 ml paprika
tsp | 5 ml sugar

Directions

Heat a large stock pot and add ground turkey, sausage and bacon, cooking until evenly browned. Drain off excess grease.
Add beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, celery, green peppers, red peppers, bouillon, beer, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, oregano, cumin, hot sauce, basil, salt, pepper, cayenne, paprika and sugar.
Stir, then cover and simmer over low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Add salt and pepper if required and serve with taco chips and shredded cheddar cheese.
