Chicken Hoisin Style Burgers

Ingredients

1 1/2 Packages Granny's Lean Ground Chicken Thigh
1/2 cup | 125 ml white onion, grated
2 tbsp | 30 ml breadcrumbs
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
1/4 cup | 65 ml green onions, finely chopped
1/2 tsp | 2.5 ml sea salt and ground pepper
2 tbsp | 30 ml hoisin sauce
1 tbsp | 15 ml Dijon mustard
1 tbsp | 15 ml soy sauce
1 tsp | 5 ml rice vinegar
1 tsp | 5 ml sesame oil
4 sesame buns, halved
to serve cabbage, shredded

Directions

Combine all ingredients, except buns and cabbage, in a medium bowl.
Shape chicken mixture into 4, 1" thick patties. Cover patties and chill for 1 hour.
Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat 375°F (190°C).
Oil grill and place patties on direct heat. Grill for 4 minutes, flip once, then continue to grill the patties until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of meat registers 165°F (75°C).
To assemble, place fully cooked patty on bottom bun. then top with cabbage. Cover burger with top bun and serve.
