Honey and Garlic Chicken Wings

Ingredients

24 Granny's Chicken Wings

Marinade

1/2 cup | 125 ml honer
1/4 cup | 60 ml soy sauce
2 tbsp | 30 ml balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp | 5ml hot sauce
to taste salt and pepper

Directions

Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add chicken wings and toss to coat thoroughly.
Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours.
Place oven rack in middle position.
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Drain wings and brown in a little olive oil in a skillet for a few minutes.
In the meantime, bring marinade to a boil and cook until thickened. Set aside.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place wings on parchment paper and brush with marinade just before cooking to prevent any contamination.
Bake for 40 minutes until thoroughly caramelized, turning chicken halfway through cooking.
