Cajun Blackened Turkey Steaks

1 package Granny’s Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper Boneless Turkey Breast
2 tbsp | 30 ml olive oil
1/2 tsp | 2.5 ml dried roasted garlic powder
1/4 tsp | 1.25 ml cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp | 1.25 ml ground white pepper
1/4 tsp | 1.25 ml ground black pepper
1 tsp | 5 ml paprika
1 tsp | 5 ml dried oregano
1 tsp | 5 ml brown sugar


Preheat grill to medium-high (375°F | 190°C).
Combine garlic powder, cayenne, white pepper, black pepper, paprika, oregano and brown sugar in a bowl to make rub.
Remove skin from turkey breasts and cut into 1/2” steaks.
Coat steaks well with the rub on all sides.
Brush steaks with oil and grill steaks over direct medium-high heat for about 5 minutes on each side. The steaks are cooked when a meat thermometer reads 170°F (77°C).
Remove from grill, cover loosely with foil and let stand for 10-15 minutes before serving.
