2 oz | cream cheese, soften at room temperature |
1/4 cup | 65 ml | chopped fresh cilantro |
1 | jalapeño chili, diced and minced |
to taste | sea salt & ground pepper |
1 | egg, beaten |
1 package | puff pastry, thawed |

Cooking tip: These empanadas can be frozen! Simply place uncooked empanadas on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place them in the freezer. Once frozen, store in an air-tight container. When ready to use, bake for an additional 5 minutes.
