Sweet and Smokey Dry Turkey Rub

Ingredients

1 package Granny’s Salt and Pepper Turkey Thighs and/or Boneless Breast
1 tbsp | 15 ml cornmeal
2 tbsp | 30 ml brown sugar
1 tbsp | 15 ml smoked paprika
1 tsp | 5 ml cumin
1/2 tsp | 2.5 ml dried roasted garlic powder
1/4 tsp | 1.25 ml cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp | 1.25 ml ground black pepper
1/2 tsp | 2.5 ml mustard powder
1/2 tsp | 2.5 ml sea salt

Directions

Preheat grill to medium-high (400ᵒF | 200ᵒC).
Combine cornmeal, brown sugar, paprika, cumin, garlic, cayenne, pepper, mustard and salt in a bowl to make rub.
Coat turkey with the rub on all sides.
Grill steaks over direct medium-high indirect heat for about 40 minutes until a thermometer probe reads 170°F (77°C).
