|2 lb | 900 g||Granny's ground turkey thigh|
|1/4 cup | 65 ml||cornmeal|
|1/4 cup | 65 ml||onion, finely chopped|
|1 tsp | 5 ml||garlic, minced|
|2 tbsp | 30 ml||egg white|
|1/4 cup | 65 ml||flat leaf parsley|
|1 tsp | 5 ml||sea salt|
|1 tbsp | 15 ml||grainy mustard|
Combine all ingredients. Form into 6 patties.
Grill patties 5-10 minutes per side on an oiled grill or until a thermometer inserted into the centre of the patty reads 170ºF (77ºC).
From the Chef: "This turkey burger recipe is gluten-free and is a great base for building a unique burger with different condiments. I sometimes sauté onions and hot peppers, then add a little balsamic vinegar and top it off with some melted gorgonzola cheese."
